Starting in 2025, the recruitment process for the positions of Office Assistant (Clerk) and Store Keeper Technical (SKT) will include an Online Typing Test, in addition to other examination procedures. According to regional notifications from the official Indian Army website, candidates will be required to demonstrate their English typing proficiency by achieving a minimum speed of 30 words per minute within a timed duration of 10 minutes. The form filling has already been started on March 12, 2025 and it will be last on April 10, 2025.
Indian Army Agniveer 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the positions of Office Assistant & Store Keeper Technical (SKT), candidates must ensure they meet the eligibility requirements set by the Indian Army.
- Educational Qualification:
10+2 / Intermediate Exam Pass in any stream (Arts, Commerce, Science) with 60% marks in aggregate and minimum 50% in each subject. Securing 50% in English and Maths/Accts/Book Keeping in Cl XII is mandatory.
- Age Limit: The age limit for these posts is set between 17.5 and 21 years, and candidates are eligible to apply. The candiadtes born between 01 October, 2004 to 01 April, 2008 will be eligible to apply.

Army Agniveer Typing Area Features:
The typing test will only be conducted for the position of Office Asst & SKT and specifically in English typing.
The typing passage shall be displayed on the upper half of the screen, and the designated typing area shall be located directly below it.
The typing passage for the English Typing test will comprise about 1500 key strokes. Candidates will have a time duration of 10 minutes (10:00) to complete the typing test.
During the test, there will be word highlighting, error highlighting and auto scrolling.
Candidates are allowed to correct any errors using the Backspace key during the typing test. Additionally, they can navigate to any word or character using the left and right arrow keys for corrections or adjustments.
If the system encounters any unexpected issues causing a lock or interruption during the typing test, candidates are permitted to restart typing the passage from the beginning.
